Athletes from across Hawaiʻi come together for a weekend of competition, friendship, and unforgettable moments.
The 2026 Special Olympics Hawaiʻi ʻAukake Classic was held over the weekend of August 22 and 23 at Waiau District Park in Pearl City. While the Tropical Storm that threatened the games may have past to the south, the competition at the park was truly intense. The weekend saw some great bocce action, with the traditional competition on Saturday and Unified on Sunday, and also saw some top-notch soccer games, including an overtime match to determine the gold medal.
Athletes from five islands came together for the two-day competition.
